Biomass refers to any organic material derived from plants or animals on our planet. Cellulose, delivered from biomass in nano-sized particles, is known as Nanocellulose (NC). It is a promising potential biomaterial that is important for various applications in pharmaceutical and biomedical fields. The experimental-setup procedures and equipment for producing NC on a lab scale were performed. Characterization methods characterized the obtained NC. Scanning electron microscope, Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy and Particle size analyzer were performed to evaluate NC. Programming software enables developers to develop, write, test and debug other software programs. Software for NC production design is presented in this research. The software was coded for scaling up for the production on a pilot scale and determining quantities of reactants concerning a production rate of NC. We investigated the materials and procedures used in manufacturing NC on a lab-scale before increasing the amount of these materials. It is required to enter the production rate and the condition experimental conditions, which are acid concentration and temperature of reaction applied in hydrolysis.
